Quinton was super vigilant and willing to answer any questions that I had about the entire process. Even if something seemed questionable, or I doubted the overall confidence in the team, Quinton continuously reassured me that everything was going to work out in the end. I would have hoped that everyone else on his team had that same mindset. There were times that I would go weeks without hearing from someone, and having to receive last minute notification on documents that should've been provided to me well in advance.

We felt that although communication was good; it was also a bit erratic and disorganized. We were told multiple different things concerning closing and we felt that this made the process less efficient and unnecessarily stressful. As one example, we were directed to look into flood insurance and get that started, which we did. Being through this process before, we were familiar with how that worked. Then we were told that we needed to switch our flood insurance instead of paying outright, and that it needed to be put into the escrow on the day of closing, which meant that we already spent a large chunk of money out of pocket for flood insurance upfront. Now we won’t be reimbursed for this until the beginning of next year which is over six months from now. Previous correspondence from the underwriter led us to believe that how we had paid for our flood insurance originally was fine. We also felt that the tasks that were listed for us to complete would have been made a bit more clear and efficient had there been groupings of tasks, that we could then be notified about at one time in order to complete them instead of one document at a time which is what was happening most of the time. We both were not able to be checking our emails all of the time so sometimes we would miss documents that were important that we needed to sign and we’d be getting excess urgent email notifications.
